New Sony ZV-1 Update Allows High-quality Video and Audio Livestreaming
Sony has just released a new firmware update for the Sony ZV-1 compact camera that allows users to easily utilise its high-quality video and audio for livestreaming. Via the new update, all users have to do is connect their Sony ZV-1 cameras to a PC via USB to utilise the high-quality video stream and built-in microphone for crystal-clear audio for everyday uses from livestreaming via social media platforms to video conferencing.
Better livestreaming capabilities with the new Sony ZV-1 update
That’s not all, the new update allows users to use any Sony Xperia smartphones as a secondary display when they connect the Sony ZV-1 camera directly to an Xperia smartphone. This will allow users to livestream on the go and utilise the secondary display to read and go through viewers comments live.
Sony says that the rising demand for livestreaming is the main reason behind the new update. This firmware update allows users to take full advantage of the ZV-1’s high-quality video as well as excellent audio capabilities, utilising high-quality UVC/UAC 5 support, for livestreaming, video calls and more. Sony also says that this capability will also be added to additional compatible cameras in the future.
This firmware updated is available now and can be downloaded for both Windows and Mac PCs through the official Sony website right here.
Pokdepinion: Pretty smart of Sony to release an update like this. Should make the Sony ZV-1 a lot more attractive for streamers after this.
