Malaysians will soon have another choice in the gaming handheld market – as Lenovo introduces its Legion Go handheld to the country, opening pre-orders starting today until December 17, 2023.

Given its specs, the Legion Go is designed as the more premium option compared to its closest competitor, the ROG Ally. Starting with the screen – the display is an 8.8-inch QHD+ panel with 144Hz refresh rate, making it the largest display to ever fit on a gaming handheld. Like the Ally, it’s also powered by AMD’s Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, paired with 16GB LPDDR5X-7500 RAM, up to 1TB SSD, and a microSD card slot allowing another 1TB of storage.

Malaysians can pre-order the Legion Go at the price of RM3,999 – those pre-ordering on Lenovo Exclusive Stores can get a free screen protector (worth RM109), and be eligible for a PWP deal with the Legion E510 in-ear headphones.

The company also launched its recently revealed flagship gaming laptop, the Legion 9i, featuring Intel Core i9-13980HX and up to RTX 4090 available to choose from. The price starts at RM16,039.01 with the base configuration. There’s also the Legion Glass, which is an AR glasses designed to work with the handheld and other Legion devices, based on the website listing, it’ll cost RM1,819 to get one.

Pokdepinion: I imagine it’s probably going to be bulkier to handle given the increased size.
