PUBG MOBILE x Mechamato Collaboration Introduces New In-Game Items, Exclusive Events
PUBG MOBILE has kicked off its collaboration with the popular animated series Mechamato, offering Legendary tier in-game items such as the Mechamato Suit, Mask Set, Mecha-Machete, and the 2-seater Mechabike from December 15, 2023 to January 5, 2024.
The collaboration also includes official cast voice packs featuring MechaBot (voiced by Adzlan Nazir) and Bago Go (voiced by Nizam Abdul Razak). A special in-game event, Ready, Set, Mechanize! allows players to collect collaboration items, while a gameplay event, Adventures of MechaBot & Bago Go, lets fans redeem free voice packs.
“We are proud to once again be collaborating with Monsta on this latest endeavor. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for all parties as we continue to improve the gaming experience for our users locally,” says Eugene Chin, Country Manager of Level Infinite. Previously, both parties collaborated on another series, BoBoiBoy, with resounding success.
Mechamato, a popular Malaysian animated series produced by Monsta, features Amato and MechaBot working together to defeat bad robots. It gained recognition as the first Malaysian animation to air on Tokyo MX (a Japanese TV station) and the first non-Japanese animation to win the ‘Anime Fan Award’ at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2023.
