Acer Nitro 5 Now Available at an Affordable Price – Powered by AMD Ryzen and NVIDIA Graphics
Acer Malaysia has officially unveiled the new Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop powered by AMD Ryzen CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 16-series GPU. It’s designed for casual gamers who want some solid performance at an affordable price.
It is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 3750H CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU. There’s quite a bit of storage here as it comes with a speedy 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD. If that’s not enough storage space, there is an additional m.2 slot as well as an HDD upgrade kit with it. It also runs on 4GB DDR4 RAM which can be upgraded up to 32GB if you’d like.
The Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop utilizes a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with Acer ComfyView and 120Hz refresh rate. With the bezels measuring in at 7.18mm, it has an 80% screen-to-body ratio. The audio is powered by Waves MaxxAudio and Acer TrueHarmony, which is said to give you a more optimized audio experience.
As for cooling, it is said to have dual fans / exhaust ports that work in tandem with the Acer CoolBoost technology for better running temperature. To further reduce any performance issues especially for online play, it comes with KILLER Ethernet E2500 and Acer Network Optimizer. For that added bit of customizations like managing fan speeds, users can make use of the included NitroSense software.
