With the debut of the most powerful 17″ AMD Advantage laptops, the first-ever 16-inch Dell G Series laptop, and the standard-defying 480Hz panel technology, Alienware achieves new benchmarks with these laptops.
Alienware m17 R5
The m17 R5 features AMD Radeon RX 6000 series GPU, Ryzen 6000 series CPUs, and new AMD Smart Technologies. The AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT 12GB GDDR6 GPU has been added to the configuration lineup with today’s release.
Furthermore, the Alienware m17 R5 features AMD Smart Technologies such as the AMD SmartShift Max which helps in dynamic power shifting between a Radeon GPU and APU and boosts performance for gaming, rendering, and content creation. The AMD SmartAccess Graphics helps with enabling separate Radeon graphics or Ryzen graphics to handle rendering and presentation while retaining AMD FreeSync will increase frame rates, decrease latency, and conserve battery life.

The G16 features a 16-inch panel in a 15-inch chassis with a 16:10 aspect ratio and is enhanced by three-sided low bezels and a QHD+ (2560×1600) 165Hz display that strikes a balance between high resolution and fast frame rates. The G16 can use Advanced Optimus to swap between the integrated GPU and the separate NVIDIA RTX graphics card as needed, which can assist improve battery life and providing a seamless gaming experience.
