ASUS Malaysia has announced the newly-refreshed ProArt P16 workstation laptop with two key updates – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, and a new 120Hz 4K Tandem OLED display. Most of the specs remain the same, including the processor option, which is AMD’s 12-core Ryzen AI 9 370 processor.
ASUS ProArt P16 Refresh

Here’s a quick rundown on the updated specs: The ProArt P16 features a 16-inch 4K 120Hz Tandem OLED display with 1600-nit HDR peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification, anti-reflective panel, and touchscreen support. This applies only to the new RTX 5090 Laptop GPU variant, whereas the RTX 5070 variant will inherit the 4K 60Hz 500-nit OLED panel as the 2024 model.
The RTX 5090-powered variant also gets memory and storage upgrades, featuring 64GB LPDDR5X RAM and 4TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage (2x 2TB SSDs), along with vapor chamber cooling. Models with RTX 5070 and below features a more conventional tri-fan cooling setup, while storage and memory options remain unchanged at 32GB+2TB, where an extra SSD slot is vacant for future upgrades. The chassis remain unchanged with a 14.9-18.3mm thickness and 1.85-1.95kg weight, and you’ll find ASUS DialPad onboard the laptop as well.

ASUS says the refreshed ProArt P16 with the GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU (H7606WP) is now available in Malaysia at RM12,999, while the GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU variant (H7606WX) will be available from 13 October at RM19,999.
Pokdepinion: Quite a lightweight given its heavyweight specs.
