ASUS ROG Malaysia Launches ROG Flow X16 and Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition
For its two high-performance gaming laptops, the ROG Flow X16 and the ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia recently announced local price, features, and availability.
ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR 17 Special Edition
The new ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition is equipped with the latest cooling technologies and the hardware to deliver gaming experiences. The laptop is able to push its hardware thanks to their unique vapour chamber and ROG’s patented Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal applied to both the CPU and GPU. With a maximum CPU TDP of 65 W and a maximum GPU TGP of 175 W with Dynamic Boost, the laptop has the capability to keep up with the high refresh rate gaming with no issues.
The SCAR 17 SE features a QHD 240 Hz refresh rate and fast 3-ms reaction times with loading times with 32 GB of lightning-fast DDR5 4800 MHz RAM and PCIe Gen 4 storage in a RAID 0 array. The laptop also has a distinctive cyberpunk look because of the application of invisible ink directly to the metal chassis. When illuminated by a UV lamp, the matte metallic texture of this material changes to a green and blue colour.

ASUS ROG Flow X16
The new ROG Flow X16 is a 16-inch thin and 2.1kg convertible laptop that supports the XG Mobile series of external GPUs and is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS CPU and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU. The ROG Nebula HDR Display, a stunning QHD 165 Hz Mini LED panel with 1100 nits peak brightness and a 100% DCI-P3 gamut, is another feature of the laptop.
Available only in the Malaysian market, the QHD 165 Hz IPS variant is slightly similar. For its tiny and light form factor, ROG did not forgo usability and upgradeability. In order to maintain great performance and low temperatures, these components are supported by the brand-new Frost Force Technology and Pulsar Heatsink, which has three fans and a high-density heatsink.
