The new ProArt P16 and P14 laptops and the ProArt GR1X mini PC are the first ProArt products built on NVIDIA RTX Spark silicon, combining a 6,144-core Blackwell GPU with a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU, with up to 1 petaflop of theoretical NVFP4 performance and up to 128GB of unified memory for the local AI models to work with.

The ProArt P16 measures 12.9mm thin at 1.77kg, making it the thinnest 16-inch ProArt laptop to date, 14% thinner and 9% lighter than the previous generation. The P14, meanwhile, weighs 1.48kg at 13.9mm, which ASUS says is the lightest ProArt laptop ever. Both carry high-capacity batteries (99Wh for the P16 and 90Wh for the P14), while display options include ASUS Lumina Pro OLED panels with Delta E <1 color accuracy, up to 4K 120Hz with NVIDIA G-Sync on the P16 and up to 3K on the P14, with up to 1,600 nits of brightness.

The ProArt GR1X mini PC measures 150 x 150 x 51mm and is built for sustained 24/7 operation, with a dual-fan cooling system featuring 218 fan blades and seven-level fan control. It supports 10GbE wired networking, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and up to four 4K displays simultaneously, in Black and Silver finishes. Besides the hardware, ASUS is also developing agentic workflow integrations with ComfyUI, an open-source generative AI workflow platform, to allow AI agents to move across generation, editing and asset management tasks.

Qualcomm & ASUS Deploy Pharmaceutical AI Agent To Taiwan Pharmacies

Separately, Qualcomm and ASUS announced the Pharmaceutical AI Agent program under the Qualcomm for Good initiative, targeting more than 50 community pharmacies across Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung and Pingtung in southern Taiwan. The program is supported by ASUS subsidiaries Taiwan AI Cloud (TWAI) and Taiwan Health and Bio DataBank Technology (THBC).

The AI agent is designed specifically for frontline pharmacists, helping identify potential drug-drug interactions, duplicate therapies and inappropriate medication use, while supporting patient counselling. It runs locally on edge devices rather than via cloud, using a 20-billion-parameter model optimized from a 120-billion-parameter cloud-based model, enabling offline inference and keeping sensitive medical data on-device.

Hardware deployed in this program includes ASUS Zenbook A16 powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme processor and Aetina’s MegaEdge AIP-FR68 edge AI box powered by Qualcomm Cloud AI 100 Ultra.

Pokdepinion: These won’t be cheap, that’s for certain.
