ASUS’s New Core Ultra Zenbook 14 OLED Is Now Available In Malaysia
Officially announced globally last week with the launch of Intel’s Core Ultra series processors (codename Meteor Lake), the new ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3405) is coming to Malaysia with two configurations available for purchase.
For starters, the new Zenbook 14 OLED is powered by up to Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor with onboard Arc Graphics, coupled with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X-7467 RAM and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD. The display is a 2.8K (2880 x 1800) 120Hz adaptive sync panel with 600 nits of peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color space, and DisplayHDR 600 True Black 600 certification. It also adheres to the new Intel Evo Edition certification, which mandates requirements in chassis weight, thickness, and system responsiveness.
In terms of connectivity and I/O, the laptop comes with Wi-Fi 6E, a pair of Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Despite its relatively small chassis at just 14.9mm thick and 1.2kg weight, there’s a sizeable 75Wh battery that ASUS says is ‘specially designed’ to support up to 20% more charging cycles than its predecessors.
For Malaysian markets, the ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3405) will come in two configurations: the first one, priced at RM5,999, comes with Intel Core Ultra 7 155H paired with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD; a second variant that costs RM4,499 will get you Intel Core Ultra 5 125H with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD instead. Both variants are now available in the Ponder Blue colorways – ASUS says the Foggy Silver version will arrive in Malaysia at a later date.
Pokdepinion: I expect good figures on the battery life of this laptop.
