ASUS Malaysia has launched the Zenbook 14 (UX3480 series), Vivobook S14 (S5408QA) and Vivobook S16 (S5608QA) in Malaysia, expanding its lineup of lightweight productivity laptops with new processor options.
ASUS Zenbook 14 (UX3480)
The Zenbook 14 is the flagship of the three, built around a 1.1kg Ceraluminum chassis that ASUS says resists scratches and smudges better than standard aluminium chassis. It is available in three colors: Arctic Blue, Komodo Coral, and Zabriskie Beige. Buyers can configure it with an Intel Core Ultra 5 325, Intel Core Ultra 7 355, AMD Ryzen AI 5 330, or Snapdragon X (X1-26-100) processor depending on budget and preference.
All Zenbook 14 configurations ship with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The Intel-based models carry a 70Wh battery with claimed 21-plus hours of battery life, while the AMD and Snapdragon variants use a 50Wh cell. The display across all models is a Full HD+ OLED touchscreen; the keyboard features 1.7mm key travel, and the laptop includes an easy-lift hinge, smart-gesture touchpad and a dual-speaker setup. Security features include Windows Hello, passkey support, adaptive dimming and lock, and Microsoft Pluton.
Vivobook S14 (S5408QA) & S16 (S5608QA)
The Vivobook S14 and Vivobook S16 share the same core configuration: Snapdragon X (X1-26-100) processor, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD and a 50Wh battery, good for up to 30 hours of battery life per ASUS’s claims, with fast charging delivering 60% in 49 minutes.
The 16-inch offers a 16:10 OLED panel with an 89% screen-to-body ratio, while the 14-inch Vivobook S14 achieves an 87% screen-to-body ratio in a more compact chassis. Both panels are rated at 100% DCI-P3 coverage and carry TUV Rheinland low blue light certification. Both are available in Light Blue and Matte Gray color options.
