COLORFUL announced the launch of its new Rimbook series laptops engineered to “strike the perfect balance between mobility and performance.” In case you wonder how the name came to be, the company says it was “inspired by the rim of a wheel,” which symbolizes “continuous motion and progress.”
COLORFUL Rimbook L1
The series debuts with the COLORFUL Rimbook L1, which features a 15.6-inch Full HD display with 60Hz refresh rate and 300 nits of brightness; the laptop is powered by the Intel Core i5-12450H processor with 8 cores (4P+4E), integrated Intel UHD Graphics, 16GB of DDR4-3200 memory, and a 512GB NVMe SSD. The laptop also includes a 50Wh battery rated for 8 hours of runtime, charged via a 65W power adapter.
The laptop’s connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and 2.5GbE LAN, while the rest of the I/O includes a USB-C “full function” port (we assume this means USB PD and DisplayPort support), along with an assortment of USB ports, HDMI 1.4, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. Additional features include a keyboard with numeric keypad, a 720p webcam, and stereo speakers. It weighs approximately 1.78kg and comes exclusively with a Grey color finish.
The COLORFUL Rimbook L1 will launch at a suggested retail price of $399 (~RM1,689). It is available now in the Philippines, with availability in other regions to follow.
