COLORFUL X15 XS gaming laptops announced with G-SYNC Ultimate support
The second-gen COLORFUL X15 XS brings with it the latest hardware Intel and NVIDIA has to offer, and crammed it into a sub-2KG package. While the brand name is COLORFUL, you only get two color options though, Pine Blue and Mist Grey. That’s still more than what most gaming laptops offer anyway.

COLORFUL mentions G-SYNC Ultimate support, although the 15.6″ FHD 144Hz display here probably doesn’t support it with its 45% NTSC gamut support and 300 nits max brightness. There’s Adaptive Sync support too, so you are assured of a tear-free, fluid experience. The COLORFUL X15 XS also boasts a 86% screen-to-body ratio, although it is by no means a compact laptop.
Powering the display is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti mated to the latest 12th Gen Intel Core H-series processor. The Colorful X15 XS can be configured with the Intel Core i5-12500H or the Intel Core i7-12700H, giving you up to 14 cores and 20 threads for excellent performance be it in games or content creation. Cooling is handled by the Storm Blade 2.0 cooling technology featuring four heatpipes, four vents and dual turbo fans, with a Freezing Mode that’s accessible via convenient hotkeys.
For RAM, you get 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM out of the box, with it being upgradeable thanks to COLORFUL’s use of SO-DIMM modules instead of soldering the memory onto the motherboard. The DDR4 implementation should also facilitate easier upgrading. Storage comes in the form of a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD, which should also be easily upgradeable.
Aside from the hardware under the hood, the COLORFUL X15 XS promises a comfortable typing/gaming experience with a full-sized keyboard featuring 1.8mm of travel distance. The trackpad is also huge, being approximately 30% larger than what most other gaming laptops can offer. Rounding off the experience is the Sound Blaster Cinema 6+ feature for impactful, immersive sound.

Pokdepinion: The design is a bit polarizing but if the price is right, I think it can be a pretty interesting option for gamers looking to get max bang for buck.
