Right after gamescom 2026 at Cologne, we’re off to Berlin (virtually) as IFA 2026 kicks off – Dell is bringing several new product announcements to the show, including the Dell 14S, a lightweight everyday laptop aimed at students, alongside two new additions to its Alienware OLED monitor lineup: the Alienware 32 4K OLED (AW3226Q) and the Alienware 25 560Hz QD-OLED (AW2527HX).
Dell 14S Laptop
All signs indicate that Dell 14S is built as a response against Apple’s MacBook Neo: it’s got an aluminum chassis measuring 13.5mm thick and weighing 1.15kg, and is offered in four colors: Linen, Dusty Rose, Washed Denim and Velvet Green. Dell said the laptop is designed to complement the XPS 13, itself known as a prime MacBook competitor within the Windows realm.
The Dell 14S runs on either Intel Core 5 320 and Core 7 350 processors, both featuring 2P+4LPE cores based on Wildcat Lake architecture, and operates at 15W PBP. Memory options include 8GB or 16GB LPDDR5X-7467 soldered memory, while storage options range from 256GB all the way up to 1TB. Buyers can choose between two 16:10 display options: a 2.8K 120Hz 450-nit panel, or a FHD+ 60Hz 300-nit panel aimed at users prioritizing battery life and value.
The laptop is rated for up to 21 hours of video streaming via its 61.2Wh “750ED PNCM” battery, which Dell describes as a denser cell engineered to run cooler under load and retain more capacity over time. Other features include an FHD camera, far-field dual-array microphones, 2W stereo speakers, and optional Wi-Fi 6E; the I/O is relatively frugal, involving just two USB-C 10Gbps ports with 65W power delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode, an HDMI 1.4 port and a headphone jack, with no traditional USB-A ports present.
Alienware 32 4K OLED Gaming Monitor
The Alienware 32 4K OLED (AW3226Q) uses RGB Stripe Tandem OLED technology, adapted from Dell’s 39-inch AW3926QW monitor, on a flat 32-inch 4K (3840×2160) panel. Dell said the four-stack tandem emissive layer and RGB stripe subpixels are intended to improve brightness, color purity and text clarity compared to standard OLED panels.
The monitor reaches 1,000 nits of peak brightness, and carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and Dolby Vision certifications. It is factory-calibrated to Delta-E <2 accuracy and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space. The panel runs at a 165Hz refresh rate with a 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time, and supports NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA AdaptiveSync, along with HDMI 2.1 FRL for high-refresh-rate 4K output on consoles.
The AW3226Q uses Dell’s AW30 design language in a Nova Black finish with narrow bezels and a flat 16:9 format, and includes height, tilt and swivel adjustments; it features an anti-burn-in algorithm and comes with a three-year warranty covering OLED burn-in. Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, and USB-A and USB-C downstream ports with 15W charging.
Alienware 25 560Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitor
The Alienware 25 560Hz QD-OLED (AW2527HX), meanwhile, is developed with professional players from esports organization Team Liquid (which it sponsors), featuring a 24.5-inch QD-OLED panel running at 560Hz – the fastest refresh rate Dell has built into a monitor to date. Same 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time given that it’s OLED-based panel, and it supports DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR13.5) without display stream compression (DSC) as well.
The monitor is certified for VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600, with a peak brightness of 1,500 nits and a matte anti-glare low-reflectance coating intended for use under bright event lighting. It includes a graphite heat-dispersion sheet and a pixel-level AI algorithm for burn-in mitigation, along with the same three-year warranty covering OLED burn-in.
Design features include a telescopic stand for high tilt angles (fun fact, some FPS players play with their monitors almost lying down), height and rotational markers for replicating setups across venues, a compact base for diagonal keyboard placement, a dedicated button for switching between 4:3 and 3:2 aspect ratios, and a rear-flip headset hook.
Pricing & Availability
The Dell 14S will be available in Malaysia in November 2026, with pricing to be confirmed. The Alienware 32 4K OLED (AW3226Q) will be available in Malaysia in October 2026, with pricing to be confirmed (US pricing is US$699.99); the Alienware 25 560Hz QD-OLED (AW2527HX) is set for availability in early Q1 2027, with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
