HP Malaysia has introduced two new workstation PCs featuring AMD’s new Ryzen AI Max series processors: the ZBook Ultra G1a laptop and the Z2 Mini G1a desktop workstation. Both will come in multiple configurations, with the maxed-out option featuring up to 16 CPU cores, integrated RDNA 3.5 graphics with 40 Compute Units, and an XDNA 2-based NPU with 50 TOPS, and up to 128GB of unified LPDDR5X-8000 memory.

Outside of the similar processor options, the ZBook Ultra G1a – which is a 14-inch laptop workstation – will feature two display options: one 2.8K OLED 120Hz panel with 100% DCI-P3 color space and touch support, or the FHD+ anti-glare panel with 100% sRGB, sans touchscreen capability. It also features a pair of Thunderbolt ports, one on each side, so you can charge the laptop from both directions; operating system choices range from several flavors of Windows 11 to various Linux distros.

As for the Z2 Mini G1a desktop workstation, HP says it’s the most powerful mini workstation – small enough to be mounted behind monitors, in fact, and it can be operated in a rack-mounted setting too. For this new generation, the power supply is now integrated into the chassis and is rated for higher power (180W to 300W), effectively increasing its power efficiency in regular operations.
Both products are now available in Malaysia, with the ZBook Ultra G1a priced from RM7,799 and the Z2 Mini G1a starting at RM5,999 via HP’s official channels.
