Razer Blade Laptops Officially Coming to Malaysia

Today marks an interesting day in Malaysia as the folks over at Razer have finally decided to bring their Razer Blade gaming laptops over to the country, along with their systems product line. We have the Razer Blade 15, Razer Blade Pro 17, Razer Core X Chroma, and the Razer Tomahawk.

Razer Blade 15

Razer Blade Laptops Officially Coming to Malaysia

Designed as an all-rounded gaming laptop for both work and play, the Razer Blade 15 is powered by the 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10875H CPU and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Max-Q GPU. You also get a 15.6-inch Full HD display with 300Hz refresh rate. As for memory, you can expect up to 16GB DDR4 2933MHz RAM and 512GB NVMe SSD.

There is also an option for a 4K OLED display model, which covers 100% DCI-P3 colour space, and is available in both touch and non-touch versions. Just keep in mind that the refresh rate won’t be as high as the Full HD variants. It’s worth noting that the base model will use the Advanced Heat Pipe cooling system whereas the advanced model will feature the Vapor Chamber cooling system.

Next up, we have the more powerful gaming laptop by the green camp, the Razer Blade Pro 17. Designed to push the limits of gaming laptops, it’s powered by the 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10875H CPU and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Max-Q Studio Edition.

As for memory, you will get up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB NVMe SSD. As the name implies, it will be using a 17.3-inch display with either Full HD 300Hz or 4K 120Hz, touchscreen support for the 4K model, 100% sRGB and 6mm bezels. You’re expected to have the power needed for both gaming and professional work in this machine.

Razer Core X Chroma

Apart from the two gaming laptops, the Razer Core x Chroma external graphics enclosure will also being making its way to Malaysia. It will connect to laptops and MacBooks via Thunderbolt 3 to give you desktop-grade graphics.

It features a 700W power supply, USB ports, Gigabit Ethernet port, and Razer Chroma RGB. Graphics card installation is said to be easy as you don’t require any tools. It’s a simple drawer-style slide and lock mechanism to open it up, with the graphics card being secured by a single thumbscrew.

The Razer Core X Chroma will be retailing for RM1,999. It will be available in early November 2020 on the Razer official store on Lazada and Shopee, as well as Thundermatch, Gamers Hideout, Brightstar, Notebook Plaza, All IT Hypermarket, TopMacro Network, and other retail partners.

Razer Tomahawk

Lastly, we have the Razer Tomahawk, a gaming PC chassis that was recently announced at RazerCon 2020. It will be available in two different sizes; mid-tower ATX and small form factor Mini-ITX.

It features full tempered glass side panels with one side showing off the internals and the other housing their cable management solution. You can open the panels via the detachable rear hinge for quick and easy access. The chassis itself features a matte black metal frame and an all-black front panel with an illuminated triple-headed snake logo. The bottom will have the Razer Chroma RGB lighting, which can be customized via Razer Synapse 3.

The Razer Tomahawk will be retailing for RM1,099. It will be available in early November 2020 on the Razer official store on Lazada and Shopee, as well as Thundermatch, Gamers Hideout, Brightstar, Notebook Plaza, All IT Hypermarket, TopMacro Network, and other retail partners.
