For starters, the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Note20 series of smartphones will be the first to get the Android 11 One UI 3 update. This isn’t a surprise given that these are their flagship devices so they get priority over the other devices.

Next in line will be last year’s flagships, followed by Samsung’s midrange phones, the Galaxy A and M series. Interestingly, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and S10e were excluded from this. This doesn’t necessarily mean that they won’t get it however, especially the former given how new the device is.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 series will be getting first dibs as the update will be coming in December 2020. The Galaxy Note20 series, along with last year’s flagships, will be getting it in January 2021. It’s worth pointing out that this also includes the Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold 2. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite will be getting it a couple of months after on March 2021.

As for the midrange and Galaxy Tab devices, the update will vary accordingly with the device, going from April 2021 all the way to August 2021. There is a chance it might come earlier but if it doesn’t, you’ll just have to wait.

Pokdepinion: Can’t wait to get that update. I really wanna see what’s new on it, and also if it ends saving more battery for me in the process.
