Infinix is gearing up for the new year with the imminent launch of its latest addition to the SMART Series in Malaysia – the SMART 8 Pro. Scheduled for release on January 31st, 2024, this smartphone marks the return of the SMART Series after the launch of the SMART 6 in 2022.
Details are still scarce at the moment, but Infinix claims the SMART 8 Pro will feature 4+4GB RAM and 128GB ROM – the memory utilizes extended RAM technology to effectively double the initial 4GB RAM for “faster boot times and improved multitasking capabilities.”
Based on the teaser image above, we can imply the software should have something similar to the iPhone’s Dynamic Island notification layout. Some smartphone makers have opted to take inspiration from it with punch-hole displays, and it looks like Infinix is no exception here.
