iPhone 12 Pro And iPhone 12 Pro Max Will Be Thinner And Offer 120Hz Display
Ross Young from the DSCC has shared recently of the latest smartphones to offer 120Hz displays and on that list features the newest iPhones.
Upcoming iPhones to offer 120Hz displays and thinner builds
The list features a host of smartphones with the 120Hz capability such as the ASUS ROG Phone II, HUAWEI Mate 40, OPPO Find X2 series, and the OnePlus 8 Pro.
Despite that, the normal variant of the iPhone 12 is more than likely to come with a lower 60Hz display, either using an LCD or OLED panel.
According to reports, the upcoming iPhone 12 series will come with a thinner build where the iPhone 12 Pro Max is said to be just 7.4mm thick. This is quite the difference when you compare it to the iPhone 11 Pro Max’s 8.1mm thickness.
Even with the thinner build, the source has said that it won’t affect the battery size of the devices as they will use a ‘multi-layer stacked motherboard’ and we could possibly see a slight upgrade in terms of battery capacity.
Other than that, reports suggest that the iPhone 12 will not be offering headphones straight out of the box, where it is said that Apple is aiming to boost the sale of their AirPods by selling it separately.
