The Nothing Ear (3a) continues Nothing’s transparent design language, with a charging case that introduces a new 3-LED matrix Status Light, using different light patterns to provide visual feedback on device status. The earbuds introduce a new Audio Capture feature, including Audio Snapshot, which allows users to save clips from media playback, and Call Recording, intended to help retain important details from phone conversations.

On the audio side, the Ear (3a) features a 12mm dynamic driver aimed at delivering deeper bass and balanced sound, paired with 45dB wideband Active Noise Cancellation. The earbuds also introduce Static Spatial Audio and an 8-band Advanced EQ to Nothing’s Ear (a) series, both adjustable through the Nothing X app. Battery life is rated at up to 42 hours of total playback with the charging case, with a five-minute quick charge providing up to one hour of playback.

The Nothing Ear (3a) is available in Pink, White, Yellow and Black colorways, priced at RM399.

Pokdepinion: Budget-friendly, that’s for sure. Not sure having just 128GB of storage is enough convincing though.
