POCO X5 Series Will Be Launching This February 2023
Calling all POCO fans! The POCO X5 Series will be launching very soon, this February 2023 to be precise. Here’s what you can expect from it.
POCO X5 Series Launch
POCO has announced the release of updated X series smartphones next week, with two models: the standard X5 and the higher-end X5 Pro. A brand ambassador, an Indian cricketer, was spotted with one of the phones earlier this month. POCO has not revealed much about the new lineup, but a Bulgarian retailer leaked the specs. The X5 Pro is expected to have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display like the X4 Pro and possibly a 120Hz refresh rate, with the main upgrade being the SoC.
The POCO X5 Pro is said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage with a microSD slot. The camera setup stays the same with a 108MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP sensor.
The POCO X5 has similar features but with some downgrades, such as a Snapdragon 695 chip, and a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display. Both phones are expected to have a 5,000mAh battery, with the X5 Pro charging faster at 67W and X5 at 33W. Global launch is on 6th February at 8PM, Malaysia time.
Pokdepinion: Looking forward to this one, not just to see what’s new but how attractive it will end up being once we know the price. If it somehow ends up being too expensive, it’s not gonna bode well for them.
