Oppo’s sister company has just launched the 10 Pro 5G series with curved displays as its headlining feature.

Display is powered by a FHD+ 120Hz panel with DC+PWM dimming (2160Hz PWM on <90 nits), with the new display packaging process enabling the bezels to further shrunk down to just 2.33mm. Sitting above it is the 0.65mm-thick Double-Reinforced Glass, which the company promises stronger resistance to drops.

As with edge displays, palm rejection is often an issue – realme’s 4th generation Anti-mistouch algorithm is expected to reduce unintended inputs. The edge section is also utilized with edge lighting, sidebars, and special always-on-display (AOD) elements.

The 10 Pro+ 5G tips the scale at just 173g and measured 7.78mm thick; with SoC courtesy of MediaTek’s Dimensity 920 5G chipset. Other specs include: 108MP ProLight Camera, 5000mAh battery, realme UI 4.0, and more.

Two options are available – 128GB+8GB and 256GB+12GB.

the standard Pro variant retains the same 108MP ProLight Camera and 5000mAh battery as the Pro+ model, while the display is now a flat 120Hz panel. This model will be powered by Snapdragon 695 5G – and supports proprietary SUPERVOOC 33W fast charging. Only 256GB+8GB variant is offered.

Both models have two color options: Hyperspace and Black Matter. From today until 15th December, all pre-orders made on realme Malaysia’s Official Brand Stores and Authorised Dealers will be eligible to claim up to 2 years of extended warranty (worth RM59), 1x realme Band 2 (worth RM169) and single Scratch & Win card – with a total of 9 categories of product to win, worth up to RM2,999.

Pricing wise, both models will be starting at RM1,299 (Pro) and RM1,599 (Pro+) – and will be available on realme Malaysia Shopee and Lazada, as well as Official Brand Stores and Authorised Dealer, starting December 16th.

Pokdepinion: Not sure how easy it is to hold the Pro model with a completely flat sides.
