Redmi A1 Released As Xiaomi’s Most Affordable Model In 2022
Xiaomi has announced the availability of the cheapest offering in 2022 – Redmi A1, at the low price of just RM359.
This no-frills smartphone provides all the basic features while minimizing the cost to consumers. Up front, there’s a 6.52″ HD+ display with 1600×720 resolution, and a 5MP selfie camera placed within the teardrop notch. Rear camera is powered by the 8MP module with auxiliary lens; with both sides loaded with various camera modes for portrait, night shots and more.
Performance is courtesy of MediaTek Helio A22 – providing reasonable performance at this price point. Expandable storage up to 1TB is available on top of the 32GB onboard storage, with 2GB RAM paired in this sole configuration. A 10W charger (included in-box) tops up a 5,000mAh battery for all-day use.
