Samsung Malaysia has just released the newest addition to their Galaxy A line of smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G. The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G features a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED HD+ (720×1600) Infinity-U Display as well as a quad camera setup. The quad cameras features a 48MP Main Camera, an 8MP Ultra Wide Camera, a 5MP Macro Camera with a 40mm focal length and a 5MP Depth Camera. In addition to that, the A42 5G also comes with a 20MP Selfie Camera.

Under the hood, you will find that the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G is using an octa-core Snapdragon 750G chipset together with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage with 1TB MicroSD support. Furthermore, it features a pretty sizeable 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charge support.
Other features include an in-built Artificial Intelligence-based Game Booster that automatically optimises your settings to give you the best possible mobile gaming experience; and the Frame Booster that compensates for dropped frames by adding virtual images in between frames. The Galaxy A42 5G also features an in-screen fingerprint reader as well as Samsung Knox.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G also features a unique gradient-esque design and is available in two variants – Prism Dot Black and Prism Dot Gray.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G will be available for purchase from November 27 at a retail price of RM1,599. It will be available at all participating Samsung Experience Stores, authorised dealers or e-store.
