Samsung Galaxy A54 Unboxing and First Impressions
Samsung Galaxy A54 Unboxing
The Samsung Galaxy A54 comes in your standard white box that looks pretty much the same as previous Galaxy A devices. Just like last year, the box is thin so I’m sure you know why. If not, you will find out in just a bit.
Inside the box, you can find the following items:
- Quick start guide
- Warranty card
- Samsung Pay leaflet
- USB-C to USB-C cable
- SIM ejector tool
- The Samsung Galaxy A54 smartphone itself
Samsung Galaxy A54 First Impressions
The Samsung Galaxy A54, interestingly enough, looks and feels kind of like an older iPhone, especially given the rounded edges and glass rear. This isn’t a bad thing however as it still feels well built. However, you would definitely want to use a protective case as soon as possible as the rear smudges easily, and there’s a worry of it, as well as the sides, getting scratched easily. This is the Awesome Violet colour but if this isn’t your cup of tea, you can also get it in Awesome White, Awesome Lime, and Awesome Graphite.
It’s not a weak smartphone, at least on paper, as it’s powered by the 5nm Exynos 1380 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. In case you need more, there’s always the option of expanding memory via microSD, with the slot being shared with the SIM card. You also get 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 for added protection.
This is all powered by a healthy 5,000mAh battery which should keep you going for at least a whole day, but keep in mind that it only supports charging speeds of up to 25W, which is rather low by today’s standards. We will find out exactly how long the battery life is once we’ve done benchmarking it. In the meantime, check out the rest of the specifications right below here:
