The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series is officially coming pretty soon (August 5th) and the leaks of the various Note 20 devices have been steadily trickling in. The latest one of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is possibly the biggest as of right now with images of the phone and details of its features have been leaked in glorious detail.

What’s new with the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra?

According to the leak, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will sport a 6.9 inch WQHD+ 19.3:9 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O screen, a punch hole 10MP selfie camera at the top centre of the screen with dual-pixel autofocus and an underscreen fingerprint sensor. Additionally, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be the first smartphone to feature Gorilla Glass 7.

Come around back and the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be featuring a triple camera setup which consists of a 108MP main lens, 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens. The leak also states that the Note 20 Ultra’s camera will be able to record 8K videos with omnidirectional and laser autofocus as well as periscope lens which offers 5X optical zoom and 50X Space Zoom capabilities. Interestingly, the Note 20 Ultra apparently won’t be including the 100X Space Zoom that’s featured on the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.

As for the internals, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will feature Exynos 990 SoC, note that the leak specified the European version and not the global version. The Note 20 Ultra will also have 12GB RAM, two storage variants (256GB and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage) as well as microSD support, which was absent from the previous Note 10 series. Powering the device is a 4,500mAh battery which can be charged from 0% to 50% in just half an hour with the bundled charger.

Software-wise, the device will come with Android 10 with Samsung One UI 2.x. It also seems that Samsung is intending for the Note 20 Ultra to be more gamer-friendly with a collaboration with Microsoft and its Project xCloud game streaming service. This will allow users of the device access to 90 game titles through the Xbox Game Pass, essentially turning it into a handheld console of sorts.

The S-Pen has also been improved with a lower 9ms latency and a slight redesign which makes it more comfortable for those who regularly use the S-Pen to write with. Other features of the Note 20 Ultra include Bluetooth 5.x, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, dual-frequency GPS, Samsung DeX, IP68 rating, wireless charging, stereo speakers done by AKG as well as 5G network support. It also features dual SIM support and eSIM functionality.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will have two colour variants in Mystic Bronze and Mystic Black.

Pokdepinion: I’m super interested with the phone’s Project xCloud support and to see how it performs. Accessing games on Xbox Game Pass from your phone sounds really awesome!
