Samsung Galaxy S20 Series Getting the One UI 2.5 Treatment
The new One UI 2.5 was launched together with the new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series. Typically, new software updates for previously released devices would take a while to reach. However, Samsung Galaxy S20 series users don’t have to wait for long to enjoy the new One UI 2.5.
The firmware version is listed as G981BXXU4BTH5, G986BXXU4BTH5 and G988BXXU4BTH5 for the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra respectively. At the moment, the update is available in Italy, Hungary, Portugal, Netherlands, and Germany via an OTA update. However, it should be making its way to other countries shortly after as well.
Some of the new features from the Galaxy Note 20 series that made its way as part of the update includes wireless DeX support, enhanced Pro video mode, changing Single Take duration, and more. You can also make use of Android 10 navigation gestures in 3rd party app launchers as well.
If you’re a Samsung Galaxy S20 series user, you should check your device and see if a new update is available. If it’s not, just wait a little bit longer as it’s becoming more and more available in other countries as well.
