The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is still months away from its official unveiling, but the rumor mill is already abuzz with speculations and leaks. Titanium Frame and Weight

One of the significant changes rumored for the Galaxy S24 Ultra is its frame material. It is suggested that Samsung will follow Apple’s lead by adopting a titanium frame. Surprisingly, this transition isn’t expected to have a significant impact on the device’s weight. In fact, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is anticipated to be 1g lighter than its predecessor, weighing in at 233g. This shift marks a transition from aluminum to titanium, while Apple’s iPhone Pros are expected to shed some weight due to their shift from heavier stainless steel.

S24 Ultra SoC: Snapdragon Exclusivity

While earlier reports hinted at the return of Exynos processors, it appears that this will be exclusive to the Galaxy S24 and S24+. The Galaxy S24 Ultra, on the other hand, is rumored to exclusively feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, likely the enhanced “for Galaxy” variant.

Display: Bright and Superlative

The Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to sport a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution. Notably, it may adopt a flat design and is reported to offer exceptional brightness, with a peak of 2,200 nits. This is a substantial increase compared to the 1,750 nits seen on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. However, it’s worth noting that chunky bezels are expected to remain a feature of the design.

Camera Upgrades

The rear camera system on the Galaxy S24 Ultra will see substantial improvements, including the introduction of a new 200MP sensor known as HP25X. While it retains a 1/1.3″ size, this sensor is expected to offer enhanced autofocus capabilities, along with 4-in-1 and 16-in-1 pixel binning. Additionally, the 3x telephoto camera will be equipped with a new 50MP sensor (previously 10MP with a 1/3.52″ size and 1.12µm pixels before binning, now upgraded). However, the 12MP ultra-wide and the 12MP selfie camera are not expected to receive upgrades, and the periscope module will retain its 10MP sensor.

Battery and Charging

Contrary to earlier rumors of 65W charging, it now appears that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will maintain a 5,000mAh battery and 45W wired charging. It’s essential to keep in mind that the S24 series is not expected to debut until next year, meaning that reliable information might still be a few months away.

As anticipation builds for Samsung’s upcoming flagship, these leaks provide a glimpse into what could be a highly anticipated addition to the Galaxy series.

Pokdepinion: Since we still have some months away, I’m sure the final product will be different but because there isn’t that much time left, I also don’t think it will be largely different from most of these leaks.
