Sony’s Latest Flagship Smartphone, Xperia 1 V, Is Now Available In Malaysia
Sony Malaysia has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Xperia 1 V – which was announced back in May. The Xperia 1 V now packs a new triple-camera array, with the primary dual-layer CMOS “Exmor T for Mobile” sensor (24mm), a 85-125mm variable zoom lens and the 16mm ultrawide lens.
Hardware-wise, it’s the 6.5-inch 4K 21:9 120Hz OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage with microSD expansion of up to 1TB. The same boxy-looking chassis still retains headphone jack, tool-less nano-SIM slot, IP68 ingress protection, Wi-Fi 6E, wireless charging and 5000mAh battery that promises 20 hours of video playback runtime.
Officially going on sale today, the Sony Xperia 1 V is selling for the asking price of RM6,399 – among the most expensive flagships available in the market. Customers can purchase the unit in Sony official online store, or head to official Shopee or Lazada stores with two colors available: Black and Khaki Green.
