vivo Showcases V29 5G With The World’s Largest Aura Light At Putrajaya Roundabout
How do you go about marketing vivo’s Aura Light featured on the V29 5G smartphone? Turns out, vivo themselves got a pretty wild idea. The smartphone maker teamed up with Puchong-based automotive tuning house Aktiv Tuninghaus to perform a stunt at the Putrajaya Roundabout. Fun fact: this roundabout is also the world’s largest roundabout, at 3.5km long.
The stunt, titled Project Illuminate, was performed on Malaysia Day at 9:29pm, and called for 29 Porsche sports cars to circle the roundabout for 29 laps, mimicking the design and features of the company’s upcoming mid-range smartphone.
The Aura Light 2.0 technology as vivo calls it, enables adaptive color temperature to achieve a natural and balanced look under various lighting conditions. The smartphone itself features a unique colorway consisting 9 million magnetic particles on the backside, which resembles Milky Way.
vivo’s V29 5G is set to make its debut tomorrow (20 Sept 2023, 5:00 PM) in Malaysia, after the launch of V27 series in April this year.
