The folks at vivo Malaysia has recently launched the brand new vivo V23 5G smartphone where it features a dual 50MP and 8MP camera at the front as well as a colour-changing exterior, as you might have seen from our social post on Facebook.

The back of the phone comes with a Fluorite AG technology which they claim to offer a “more comfortable grip” and sports a special colour changing exterior that changes colour under direct sunlight.

There’s features such as Dual-Tone Spotlight and AI Extreme Night mode, which you can probably tell lets you to take better picture at night/low light conditions. With the capable front cameras, you are able to shoot 4K selfie videos, which you can further edit through a bunch of modes.

As for the back, it comes with a 64MP AF night camera, 8MP super-wide angle camera as well as a 2MP super macro lens.

The phone is powered by a Dimensity 920 chipset and it comes with 12GB RAM that’s mated with 256GB internal storage. You can choose to expand the RAM to do more tasks smoothly with its RAM expansion feature which takes storage for more performance.

It sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED display which supports 90Hz refresh rate as well as HDR10+. Other than that, it comes with a 4200mAh battery which you can charge with its 44W fast charger.

Running on FunTouch OS 12 based on Android 12, it retails for the price of RM2,099.

The first sale starts today, 14th of January 2022 until the 14th of February 2022. From now till the 16th of January 2022, you can get yourself free gifts worth RM668 including the vivo TWS 2e, 1-year screen crack protection as well as a 1-year extended warranty.

They will also have a second batch of First Sale where it happens on the 17th of January till the 14th of February. What’s different is that you can get your hands on a wireless vacuum cleaner instead of the earbuds.

Pokdepinion: Well I definitely wasn’t expecting that price. When I got my hands on it briefly, the physical feel of it reminds me of an iPhone for some reason.. Can’t say for sure that it’s worth it, but seeing what they are offering, you might want to take advantage of their freebies if you plan on getting one of them.
