vivo Y27s Debuts In Malaysia As The Brand’s Latest Budget Smartphone Entry
vivo’s Y series is responsible for the brand’s presence in the budget smartphone segment, and today the company is announcing the debut of vivo Y27s in Malaysia.
In terms of features, the vivo Y27s comes with a midrange Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM (plus an additional 8GB ‘Extended RAM’), and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage with microSD card slot expandable up to 1TB. The display is courtesy of the cheaper LCD panel that spans 6.64 inches, features FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 650 nits.
A pair of cameras sits behind the device with the 50MP + 2MP sensor combination (alongside an 8MP sensor in front); as with most contemporary smartphones, it also comes with a 5000mAh battery with 44W fast charging capability. vivo claims this will charge the smartphone from 0 to 30% in just 15 minutes.
Available in Garden Green and Burgundy Black colorways, the vivo Y27s will be available for purchase starting on 25 November 2023, with a price tag of RM799 – via vivo’s E-store, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok shop.
Pokdepinion: for the price, the specs are somewhat decent – though the lack of OLED is fairly common at this segment.
