Xiaomi has revealed the camera specifications for its upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra model, featuring three 50MP Sony IMX858 sensors in addition to the 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor for the main shooter. The device will be announced on April 18.

Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Mi 13 Ultra, is expected to launch on April 18, and the company has been dropping hints about its camera setup on social media. The latest official post on Weibo revealed that the device will feature three 50MP Sony IMX858 sensors, in addition to the 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor used in the 12S Ultra.

The three sensors will be used for the ultrawide, 3x telephoto, and 5x telephoto cameras, respectively. Xiaomi claims that the advanced noise-reduction features and better HDR capabilities of the camera setup will result in a more versatile and high-performing camera system.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has been kept under wraps by Xiaomi, with only a few leaks revealing some basic specs for the past couple of months. However, the official reveal of the camera specs has generated excitement among fans and industry experts alike.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or 2 processor and come with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device is also expected to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The official launch is just around the corner, so we won’t have to wait much longer to see how the Mi 13 Ultra stacks up against its competitors.
