Xiaomi Malaysia Adds New Additions To Redmi Note 10 Family And 4K Smart TV
The folks at Xiaomi Malaysia has finally launched the new members of the Redmi Note 10 family with the introduction of the Redmi Note 10 5G and Redmi Note 10S. In addition to that, they’ve also introduced their first premium range of 4K smart TVs in the country.

First up is the Redmi Note 10 5G where is the most affordable 5G smartphone in the country. It is powered by a Dimensity 700 chipset and it sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD AdaptiveSync DotDisplay that comes with 90Hz refresh rate.
Featuring a triple 48MP camera setup, it packs a 5000mAh battery which you can charge with its 18W fast charger. In terms of memory, it offers 8GB RAM that’s coupled with 128GB internal storage. For the price, it is priced at RM799. For a limited time, each purchase of the device will include a Redmi Note 10 5G T-shirt (offline only), Mi True Wireless Basic 2 and 6-months Screen Protection Warranty for purchases made before the 28th of August.
As for the Redmi Note 10S, it sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED DotDisplay instead. Powered by a Helio G95 processor, it comes with a 33W fast charger and a 360-degree light sensor setup. It comes with dual speakers and instead comes with a quad camera setup.
At the back is a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, 2MP macro lens, and finally a 2MP depth sensor.
In terms of the price, you can get the Redmi Note 10S at the price of RM899 where it comes with 8GB RAM that’s mated with 128GB storage. Early-birds will get their hands on a free Mi True Wireless Earbuds Basic 2 while stocks last and you can get the phone starting from tomorrow, 21st of May 2021.
We head into home entertainment now, starting with the new Mi TV P1 Series. The series comes with bezel-less display and 60Hz LED panel, offering a 178-degree field of view.
It is available in three different sizes; 55″, 43″, and 32″ in the country. The bigger two options comes with 4K UHD resolution and Dolby Vision support. Specifically for the 55″, it goes further with HDR10+ content support, offering a high dynamic range and making pictures more vivid.
All three models are Android TVs and comes with apps such as Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube pre-installed. You can connect your smartphones and tablets using Chromecast and Miracast as well. They also have Google Assistant built-in so you can command your TVs easily.

Last but not least is the Mi TV Q1 75″, which comes with 4K UHD resolution and quantum dot technology. Coming with a big 75-inch display, it sports a premium metal finish and 178-degree viewing angle.
With its 4K QLED display panel, it accommodates 100% NTSC color range with 1.07 billion color variations and 1024 different color shades. Equipped with 192 zones of dynamic local dimming, the Mi TV Q1 75″ maintains image contrast of 10,000:1.
It touts a fast 120Hz refresh rate, coupled with HDMI 2.1 ports and Auto Low Low Latency Mode as well as support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. In terms of sound, it has a 30W stereo speaker system that utilizes six speakers with them being two tweeters and four woofers.
The Mi TV Q1 75″ will be available for pre-orders from the 6th of June 2021 at RM7,999 and you will get the same streaming privileges as mentioned earlier.
