Lenovo recently released a slew of new products which include new laptops as well as new tablets. These new tablets include the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro and Lenovo Tab M10 HD Gen 2 tablets.

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro

The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro is Lenovo’s most powerful tablet in the market yet. The tablet is designed to be their ultimate mobile entertainment machine with high-quality display and sound. In terms of specs, the Tab P11 Pro features an 11.5-inch 2K (2560 x 1600) OLED display in HDR10 and Dolby Vision with four JBL speakers that have been optimised with Dolby Atmos sound technology. It also has slim bezels and is encased in an ultra-slim, aluminium chassis.

The tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 730G SoC with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage (expandable up to 256GB). It also has a dual camera setup for both the rear (13 MP Auto-Focus + 5 MP Fixed-Focus) and front (8 MP Fixed-Focus + 8 MP Fixed-Focus) cameras.

The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro is also made with productivity in mind as it comes with support for an optional keyboard and pen, handy hotkeys as well as Microsoft Office applications.

Lenovo Tab M10 HD Gen 2

The Lenovo Tab M10 HD Gen 2 tablet, on the other hand, is designed to be more of a family-friendly device with a particular focus on kids. The Lenovo Tab M10 HD Gen 2 comes with Google’s Kids Space, a new kids mode available first on Lenovo tablets. Kids Space features apps, books and videos recommended based on interests kids choose to discover, create and grow. In addition to that, parents can manage their child’s device and experience via Family Link parental controls from Google.

Specifications-wise, The Lenovo Tab M10 HD Gen 2 features a 10.1-inch HD TDDI wide-viewing angle display with dual speakers also optimised with Dolby Atmos. Under the hood is a MediaTek P22T processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage (expandable up to 256GB) and has features such as TÜV Rheinland eye protection to help reduce harmful blue light.

Price and availability

The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro will be available beginning from November onwards with a retail price starting from €699 (RM3476+) while the Lenovo Tab M10 HD Gen 2 will start at €159 (RM790+). The Lenovo Tab M10 HD Gen 2 has two additional variants; one with Google Assistant and the other with Alexa Built-in. Both will be available from October and November respectively and are priced from €179 (RM890+) and €199 (RM989+) respectively.

Pokdepinion: I foresee the M10 tablet to be quite popular with parents due to the implementation of Kid Space as well as its other family-friendly features.
