New Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Series Makes It More Viable to Replace Your Laptop
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Series Launch
We didn’t just get new foldables at the recent Galaxy Unpacked as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series was also launched in its entirety. Apart from size, all three tablets are actually quite similar to each other, being powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. It’s also a healthy upgrade from the bottom to make the experience on each tablet virtually similar.
For instance, all three models use the Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and has a refresh rate from 60Hz to 120Hz. They also come with a quad stereo speaker setup with Sound by AKG and supports Dolby Atmos. The base model Tab S9 also gained a 400mAh bump in battery capacity while its bigger brothers retain the same capacity as last year, making it stand out more than usual as opposed to being overshadowed by the Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra.
With that being said, power users will lean more towards the latter two models as the Ultra has the biggest RAM capacity of 16GB if you opt for the 1TB storage model whereas the S9+ has 12GB RAM across the board. The base model Tab S9 has storage options of 128GB and 256GB while the S9+ and Ultra has 256GB and 512GB options, all expandable via microSD. All of the models will have a Wi-Fi only version as well as a 5G version for those who plan on sticking a SIM card inside for mobile data.

Pokdepinion: One thing I’ve always said is that a tablet can never replace a laptop because of the abundance of software in the latter. With the addition of new apps, especially in the creative department, it has gotten that much easier to make the jump if you get it together with the keyboard case. Can’t wait to review it and see how viable it is.
