LG has partnered with Prime Video to mark the streaming release of Masters of the Universe, introducing two features exclusive to its smart TVs: Creator Original Picture Mode and a voice-activated Magic Remote command tied to the film.
LG Brings Creator Original Picture Mode To 2026 OLED evo TVs
The Creator Original Picture Mode is available exclusively on the 2026 LG OLED evo W6, G6 and C6 series – beyond just the regular Filmmaker Mode which primarily disables post-processing enhancements, this new feature is designed to let studios control picture quality elements including shadow detail, color balance, noise reduction and motion handling. Processing is done courtesy of LG’s Alpha 11 processor 4K Gen 3, which supports 12-bit image processing and dynamic range control.
There’s a second feature coming with the film, although this is more of an interaction feature rather than a technological one. LG’s Magic Remote now allows users to access Masters of the Universe content on Prime Video by saying the phrase “I have the power” (a reference to the film’s dialogue) in English, French, Spanish, Italian and German, as long as the TV in question is running webOS 23 and later. When activated, the TV retrieves the movie along with related bonus features and Prime Video content.
If you just have a regular LG TV (or anything that works with Prime Video), you can watch Masters of the Universe on Amazon’s video streaming platform today; for the supported TV models, LG notes that the feature is “scheduled to roll out by the end of this month.”
