Toshiba Malaysia Launches Three Exciting New TVs: Z670M, Z870M, and M550M
At a launch event in Petaling Jaya today, Toshiba Malaysia unveiled three new and intriguing television models: the Toshiba Z670M, Z870M, and M550M. Here are the details for each TV:
Toshiba Z870M
This model is a VIDAA OS smart television that employs a mini LED screen panel with sizes available in 55″ and 65″. The new Toshiba TV is powered by the REGZA Engine ZRi chip with built-in artificial intelligence.
The TV can display Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ content and comes equipped with a forward-firing REGZA Bass Woofer PRO speaker system with REGZA Power Audio Pro+ tuning and Dolby Atmos. Toshiba has highlighted this TV’s suitability for gaming, with special modes supporting a 144Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync, auto low latency mode, and IMAX Enhanced. It also supports Apple AirPlay 2 and can be integrated into the Apple HomeKit ecosystem.
The Toshiba Z870M will be retailing for RM7,699 for the 55-inch variant whereas the 65-inch variant will be retailing at RM9,399 instead. Pre-ordering it from now until 30th September 2023 will yield discounted prices and free gifts.
Toshiba Z670M
This VIDAA OS television is available in 55″ and 65″ sizes and uses LED panels, with a strong focus on gaming. This TV utilizes the same REGZA technology as the Z870M model.
The main advantage here is the TV’s adaptive 144Hz refresh rate and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate). Support for IMAX Enhanced, AMD FreeSync, and more gaming features are retained. To provide an immersive gaming experience, the audio system is equipped with the REGZA Bass System and Tru Bass Booster.
The Toshiba Z670M will be retailing for RM4,999 for the 55-inch variant whereas the 65-inch variant will be retailing at RM6,299 instead. Pre-ordering it from now until 30th September 2023 will yield discounted prices and free gifts.
Toshiba M550M
This television features REGZA Engine ZR technology with Color Re-Master Pro, while the audio system remains the same with REGZA Power Audio PRO, Tru Bass Booster, and REGZA Bass Woofer.
The screen panel is LED with Quantum Dot color technology. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR 10+, 4K resolution, Dolby Atmos, and Apple AirPlay 2. This TV will be priced more affordably and is the only model to run Google TV, unlike the others.
Its pricing and availability in Malaysia has yet to be confirmed at the moment, but it is expected to be announced at a later date.
