The Asia Pacific Predator League, organized by Acer, returns for its sixth edition with a USD 400,000 prize pool. The tournament will feature Dota 2 and VALORANT, with players from 15 regions competing at the Grand Finals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in January 2025. Kuala Lumpur follows previous locations including Jakarta, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Manila, as the fifth host city of the tournament (with one edition being online-only due to pandemic).
Predator League Heads To Malaysia
Since its inception, Asia Pacific Predator League has awarded a total of USD1.75 million to winners from the gaming community. Andrew Hou, President of Acer Pan Asia Pacific, said: “We are excited to once again host this tournament that has become a signature feature of our efforts in fostering competition and engagement with the gaming ecosystem, from the local qualifiers to the intense Grand Finals scheduled for January next year.”
The 2025 season kicks off with a character design competition themed “It Lies Within” – Acer’s tagline for its Predator line of gaming products. Winners CHK DSK, and first runner-up Sid Ibamit from the Philippines, along with second runners-up YoungPray from Thailand and Jiva from Indonesia, will be featured on Predator Gaming’s social media channels.
