The HOK Invitational Midseason 2024 will use a single round-robin format, with teams split into two groups. Best-of-one matches will determine group standings, with the top four teams from each group advancing to knockout stages. The quarterfinals start on August 3 with best-of-three matches, while the semifinals and finals will feature best-of-five matches.

Malaysia will be featured in three teams, including Team Secret, Weibo Gaming, and LGD Gaming; the final Southeast Asian team to join this tournament will be decided on July 30 at 3 PM (UTC+3) in a match between Indonesia’s Rex Regum Qeon and the Philippines’ BOOM Esports. All matches will be streamed live on YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, TikTok, and Honor of Kings’ in-game TV.
From July 26 to August 4, players can earn event currency by logging in, playing, or spectating matches. This currency can be used to flip squares representing the 12 squads, with rewards available at various milestones and a lucky draw for exclusive items. A new theme song for the Invitational Midseason, blending electronic music and hip-hop, will be released on July 29, with a music video debuting on July 31 that presents “a unique artistic visualization of Saudi Arabia.”
Pokdepinion: Malaysia represents a quarter of the teams here, and based on recent form, winning the tournament seems like a good target.
