Fall Guys is Now Free in Epic Games Store But Unavailable on Steam Store
Fall Guys was revealed last month that it was going to be free to play on 21 June and that it was coming to Epic Games Store. There was a mention that it will also be removed from Steam and those who already own a Steam version will continue to get full support from the developers.
According to a post on Fall Guy’s Steam community page, Mediatonic, the developer of the game, stated that Fall Guys has crossplay and cross-progression across all platforms such as PC via Epic Games Stores, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Furthermore, The game will no longer be available for purchase on Steam for new players, and the product page will no longer appear in the shop.
The free-to-play relaunch includes a season reset, a new in-game currency called Show-Bucks, and a new advancement system. The new Season 1 is titled Free For All, and it includes a massive arena filled with new events and locales. Existing gamers will receive a Legacy Pack, which includes the initial season pass plus a number of cosmetics.
