Silent Bark Games has released a new trailer for Blast Blade, its upcoming 3D platform fighter, ahead of the game’s playable debut at Tokyo Game Show 2026. The Bangkok-based developer will showcase Blast Blade at booth 02-S01 during the event, which runs from 17 to 21 September at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
Blast Blade is described as the world’s first 3D platform fighter where players can only win by sending opponents out of bounds using explosive blast attacks. The game is set in Crystalia, a world described as a land of tranquil beauty and eternal conflict, where players compete in multi-tiered arenas with environmental features that can shift the outcome of any match.
Blast Blade Gameplay and Character Roster
Blast Blade supports up to four players in simultaneous 3D combat. Each character in the roster has distinct strengths and weaknesses tailored to different playstyles. Nino is a speedy and agile woodland creature suited to players who prefer fast, disorienting tactics. Lumina, Crystalia’s royal princess, balances offense and defense in close-range combat. Drayoll trades speed for sheer power, delivering slow but overwhelming attacks.
Tokyo Game Show Booth Activities and Giveaways
Attendees at the Blast Blade booth can take part in four stamp card activities: playing the game, photographing the booth, following the official Blast Blade social media account, and completing a post-gameplay survey. Each completed activity earns a stamp, and players can draw for random prizes including fans, stickers, t-shirts, and jewelry-quality amulets.
Players who complete all four activities will receive a set of exclusive keychains and additional surprise items. The full collection of giveaways is only available to attendees who finish every stamp card activity.
