GENSHIN CONCERT 2021, Genshin Impact’s First Global Online Concert Coming This October 3

At Gamescom 2021, miHoYo announced that on October 3, its hit game Genshin Impact will stage its inaugural online GENSHIN CONCERT 2021 -Melodies of an Endless Journey. Yu-Peng Chen and HOYO-MiX created and produced the music for Genshin Impact, which will be performed at the concert. Maestro Dirk Brossé, a world-renowned Belgian conductor, and the Flanders Symphony Orchestra will perform the original Genshin Impact soundtracks alongside musicians from the United States, South Korea, and other nations.

GENSHIN CONCERT 2021 -Melodies of an Endless Journey

The original Genshin Impact soundtracks were created by accomplished composer Yu-Peng Chen and produced by HOYO-MiX, miHoYo’s in-house music team. Genshin Impact’s soundtracks use classical orchestral music as a foundation and add various elements of world music in themes and variations for various places.

Six original soundtrack albums have been released for the game, and a seventh album comprising music from the recently released Inazuma area will be released soon in cooperation between HOYO-MiX and Sony Music.

The first glimpse of the online GENSHIN CONCERT 2021, starring Maestro Dirk Brossé and the Flanders Symphony Orchestra performing a Mondstadt tune recognisable to every Genshin Impact fan and player at the Salle Philharmonique de Liège, is shown in the announcement trailer.

Maestro Dirk Brossé has been a respected and award-winning composer and conductor for more than 40 years, having worked on prestigious projects all over the world, including the Star Wars in ConcertWorld Tour. The approximately 90-minute concert will feature reinterpreted iconic pieces modified and played by various people and groups of artists, as well as a symphonic performance of the Genshin Impact soundtrack by a complete classical orchestra in nations such as the United States and South Korea.
