Indonesia’s creative community, which includes game developers, founders, artists, designers and digital creators, was cited as the reason for selecting the nation’s capital as the starting point for this initiative. iterco has so far published 10 game titles and received more than 15 international industry awards and nominations, working with studios and creators across Southeast Asia.

iterco says iterhaus is designed as a hub for focused work and community programs, offering workspaces, meeting rooms, event spaces, playtesting facilities, a hybrid motion capture studio and a podcast studio. The space also hosts community programs, workshops, networking sessions and creator-focused initiatives.

Meanwhile, Porch functions as a café intended to serve both iterhaus members and the general public – it is designed as a space for remote work, casual meetings and community activities, including creator meetups, industry events and brand collaborations. According to iterco, the two spaces are intended to work together, with casual interactions at Porch potentially leading to further collaboration through iterhaus.

While iterhaus originated from the game development sector, the space is intended for a wider audience, including founders, designers, artists, freelancers, students, digital creators, community builders and organizations. iterco stated it plans to expand programs and partnerships at iterhaus and Porch over time, working with brands, educational institutions and community partners to support Indonesia’s creative industries.
