PUBG MOBILE Update 1.5 Adds Mission Ignition, New Erangel Map And Tesla Gigafactory
With Update 1.5, PUBG MOBILE receives one of the most significant changes to date. Several new features are included in Update 1.5, including the Mission Ignition game mode, an all-new Erangel map, Hyperlines that players can utilise to traverse around the world, and a collaboration with TESLA to bring the Tesla Gigafactory into the game. In addition, PUBG MOBILE’s Royale Pass System has been completely revamped.
PUBG MOBILE Update 1.5 is the biggest update yet
DynaHex, a technology and energy corporation, is conducting long-term technological modifications on the Erangel terrain as part of the Mission Ignition game mode. The map will be used as an experimental platform for DynaHex’s latest scientific study. EvoGround provides access to Mission Ignition. In this mode, players can gain Rating Points.
DynaHex has transformed six major areas of Erangel based on military defence, energy utilisation, transportation and logistics, and cutting-edge scientific research. These include:
- Transit Center (previously Pochinki)
- Port of Georgopol (previously Georgopol)
- Tech Center (previously the School)
- Security Center (previously the Military Base)
- Logistics Agency (previously Yasnaya Polyana)
- Energy Center (previously Mylta Power).
The local transportation centre has been upgraded as well, with Hyperlines connecting the island’s major settlements. These HyperLines can be used by players to move between set locations at specific moments and to make use of these qualities to utilise more tactics.
On the island, players will find additional dynamic components such as lifts, automatic doors, and other moving platforms in the improved locations. Then there’s the new Air Conveyor, which allows players to fly and monitor the skies. These can usually be found near the bases and in parts of the map’s urban districts.
A hoverbike, which can cover terrain better than any other vehicle, is another unique piece of equipment that has been added to the game. A two-seater Anti-gravity Motorcycle, Riot Shield, and a Tactical Marking Device will automatically mark the position of adversaries who have been hit and provide you with extra information about your colleagues.
Erangel’s technological transformation has piqued Tesla’s interest. Tesla will construct a Gigafactory on Erangel to manufacture vintage Tesla models as well as provide more technologically sophisticated autonomous driving experiences and transportation solutions. Players will be able to explore Tesla-exclusive content in the new mode, Mission Ignition.
Players can enter the Gigafactory in PUBG MOBILE and observe a Tesla Model Y being built from beginning to end. They can then go behind the wheel of their new car and test out the ground-breaking autopilot technology that is standard on all Tesla vehicles. In the wild, a self-driving Tesla Semi will spawn at random along the road and drive on predetermined routes. Damage to the Semi will cause it to drop Supply Crates, which can be used to earn battle supplies.
Furthermore, the current Royale Pass will be replaced with the Royale Pass Month (RPM) scheme starting with Version 1.5. Each Royale Pass Month is only valid for one month. Each Royale Pass Month now costs 360 UC (down from 600 UC), and the highest level has been lowered from 100 to 50.
The value of the awards will be increased as well in PUBG MOBILE. A Challenge Point System is also being built to analyse player activities, with bonuses being awarded for positive behaviour like not quitting, not using friendly fire, and not going AFK.
In addition, the PUBG MOBILE Classic Mode has received various enhancements, including new weapons, throwable consumables, and victory snaps with the Chicken Dinner statue. New All-Talent Championship titles and regional rankings have been added, as well as an additional Clan Clash mode with six new milestones for participants to unlock.
