PUBG MOBILE has announced its Version 3.3 update, introducing the underwater-themed Ocean Odyssey mode, now available until September 9, 2024. Coincidentally, the game recently reached the #1 spot in the App Store rankings under Games category.
PUBG MOBILE version 3.3: What’s New
The new game mode features locations such as Ocean Palace and Forsaken Ruins, plus new marine vehicles like the Gleaming Stingray and Whale Escape Pod that can be used to navigate in this underwater map. Meanwhile, Classic Mode receives a refresh with the DSR Sniper Rifle and updated map layouts, and Payload Mode now includes Intel Rooms, scattered across the map, which can be looted for hidden supplies. Players also get access to water-themed weapons, such as Water Orb Grenade and Water Orb Blaster.
Moving on, the World of Wonder enhancements bring tower defense gameplay with continuous upgrades and new themed map templates, such as Ocean Palace and Underwater World. Metro Royale, meanwhile, introduces the Zombie Uprising mode – players are advised to team up to fight against the undead, and new weapons like the M134 Minigun and Flamethrower should help cleaning them up efficiently.
Home Mode now features the Aegean Bay Cove theme – for a limited time, players reaching Home Level 4 can claim a free Aegean Bay Cover Object pack. Another addition is the PUBG MOBILE Home Party feature, which the developer says “encourages social interaction”, with items like DJ stations and microphones that trigger exclusive emotes and party music. Players can also participate in a new Home design competition for rewards.
Cycle 7 Season 19 offers new legendary items including the C7S19 Glasses, Set, Mask, Cover, and QBU skin; updated rewards in the Season Token Event Shop now includes the C7S19 parachute. In the future, upcoming collaborations include a partnership with a luxury sports car manufacturer and a South Korean animation series – though no names has been revealed just yet, so watch this space!
