One week since its global launch, Honor of Kings has claimed the top spot on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store charts in Malaysia.
Honor Of Kings Gains Popularity
The game was launched on June 20th across Southeast Asia, North America, Europe, Japan, South Korea, and Latin America, and it has since gained popularity to top various mobile gaming charts in a span of just one week, especially in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
As part of the launch, all 85 initial heroes, including the new hero Sun Ce, are available for a free trial during the first month to allow players to find their preferred heroes. Players can also earn experience cards through events to try out Sun Ce and have the opportunity to permanently unlock up to 28 heroes and 21 hero skins through in-game activities during this period.
To highlight its regional success, Honor of Kings will host the SEA All Star Showmatch on June 29, 2024, featuring top gaming talents from the region – Malaysia’s team will be led by KingShah and Din Jumper. The game will be hosting its upcoming esports tournament here as well, which will determine the winner of from the 13 qualified teams worldwide, including two local teams.
