Nintendo Switch Online May Include Game Boy Games Soon

As many of you may know by now, the Nintendo Switch Online service includes temporary free NES and SNES games to give further incentive for gamers to subscribe. It appears that we might just see Game Boy games included as well.

Nintendo Switch Online: Game Boy Games?

Initial rumors stemmed from podcaster and Nintendo insider NateDrake, who claimed that Game Boy and Game Boy Color games will be coming to the Nintendo Switch Online service in the coming weeks. Nintendo Life has also echoed this statement, which further adds to the credibility.

The timing would be perfect for it since NES and SNES were added as platform in September of their respective years despite 2020 not seeing any new additions. Like the older platforms, we will most likely see a mix of 1st party and 3rd party games from both Game Boy and Game Boy Color added to the fray.
