With the fateful day of love slowly approaching, many gamers are wondering if there will be a Genshin Impact Valentine’s Day 2022 event. Here’s what you need to know.

Is The Genshin Impact Valentine's Day 2022 Event Actually Happening?

During the recent Genshin Impact livestream by miHoYo, most of you would have noticed that there were no announcements for a Valentine’s Day 2022 event. If you remember correctly, we didn’t have it last year either.

With that being said, we vcan expect to see Valentine’s Day artwork for the game rather soon. While the game originated from China, it is ultimately a Japanese-style game, and the reason we’re pointing out that is because the Valentine’s Day 2021 saw artwork with the female characters giving out chocolate. In Japan, it’s common for women to give chocolate to others for the occasion.

As last year’s one involved Keqing and Ganyu, both of whom originated from Liyue, we expect the Genshin Impact Valentine’s Day 2022 artwork to involve different female characters instead, perhaps from the Mondstadt or Inazuma region. Until that happens, we will keep you all posted so stay tuned.

Genshin Impact is currently available for free on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Android, iOS, and PC. A Nintendo Switch port of the game is coming sometime in the near future.

Pokdepinion: It’s a fun little visual piece that would make fans swoon for sure. I personally just wanna see Eula and Ayaka but just gotta wait and see who they plan on showing off this time.
