Here’s A Reminder Of How Good GTA 6 Trailer Looks, As Recreated In GTA 5

Suffice to say the first trailer of Rockstar’s upcoming blockbuster is nothing short of gorgeous. But, by how much? Someone has put together a re-creation of the GTA 6 trailer within the bounds of GTA 5 for comparison. GTA 5, which is a 10-year-old game at this point, has received some graphical improvements over time through the release on new platforms, however.

The clip was created by YouTube channel GTA Belgium, which has created every equivalent scene seen in the Rockstar’s trailer. While most would say some parts of the game certainly didn’t age well after a decade’s worth of graphics innovations, remember – this is a game that was originally released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, which wouldn’t hold a candle against any modern PC’s performance these days.

Here’s a reminder – GTA 6 will only be released in 2025 with PS5 and Xbox Series consoles getting the head start, while the PC version’s release date remains unknown so far. We can expect highly advanced technologies like ray tracing to make its debut here (for how good it looks, Rockstar’s previous release – Red Dead Redemption 2 – does not feature ray tracing), accompanied by what is regarded as the best hair effects the video game industry has ever seen.
