Psychonauts 2 developer, Double Fine, revealed on Twitter that their upcoming game will feature an invincibility toggle so you can beat the game without dying. Double Fine says that the invincibility toggle is there because they ‘want you to have fun, to laugh, to experience a story that affects you. On whatever terms you want.’

Quoting an Xbox tweet that read, ‘Beating the game on the lowest difficulty is still beating the game’, Double Fine says that even if you finished Psychonauts 2 with invincibility on, you still beat the game. In another tweet, the developers went on to say, ‘All people should be able to enjoy games. All ages, all possible needs. It’s an ongoing and important process for our industry and a challenge we need to met. End of the day? We want you to have fun, to laugh, to experience a story that affects you. On whatever terms you want.’

Pokdepinion: I really liked the original Psychonauts. It was weird, quirky and really enjoyable. Also, it featured one of my all-time favourite voice actors ever in Richard Horvitz who voiced so many characters from my childhood. Looking forward to playing Psychonauts 2.
